emo trippin’ – the good, the bad & the fab
I’m annoyed. There are so many drafts residing in the server that it really irks me.
I should be at East Coast right now. But it would mean I’m the only one not cycling and what should I do while waiting for the rest to cycle to Changi and back? Besides, they were meeting at 9.30am! Why on earth would anyone wanna wake up before 12 on a Saturday? My bunch of colleagues are crazy.
I probably woke up on the wrong side of bed which translates to this growing sense of annoyance. Or it just might be that I was woken up way earlier than I should by the rascals and my screaming mum.
Whatever, I’m in an irritable mood. So before I turn psycho and start throwing things all over the place, I’ll busy myself and do some recapping…
Have I mentioned? I was on leave last Wednesday to Friday.
Last Wednesday was the day where I attended the brother’s award presentation ceremony and I was bored out of my wits. I think I’ll skip the next one in October. But if there’s anything I’ve learnt, most of the people in the auditorium that day have “nerd” written on their forehead. They look like they came out from the same nerd mold! I never knew RGS’ blazer is such an ugly shade of green so unmatching with their school uniform!
Wednesday was also the day when I sat at the hairdresser’s for more than 3 hours and the day I attended Barry and Jac’s birthday chalet. There I met he whom I referred to as the “off-duty DJ” – Shawn. He chanced upon my blog some time back and he has never stopped reminding me of this reference. Tsk tsk.
Hyperactive Ernest spent most of the time in front of the pit… but it turned out a disaster. Food looked like charcoal and the fire went out of control. He tried to catch a cat but the cat ran away. Hur. Me? I was happily getting high. Oh… and talking crap with the rest.
On Thursday we skipped his friend’s ROM only to attend the reception later that night. It was mean but being the lazy arses we are, we only woke up at 2.30pm! It didn’t help we only got to sleep at 6am.
Friday was a chillout day till he went for his mahjong session and I came home to suffer another bout of verbal assault.
Sat I can’t remember and Sunday was well… bumpy. We woke up early enough go to
East Coast with the gym bunnies. A friend of theirs was there for a bodybuilding competition. The highlight was having Macs for breakfast, everything else was a bore. Dogs and babies made better eye candies in my opinion.
Like I’ve said, it was a bumpy day. Garcia is a terrible driver! I hit my head when he swerved abruptly. I hit my head another two times in Barry’s Audi on our way to Parkway. The car was so goddamn small that when I sat at the back, I hardly have any space to move.
Well, that’s it. Those were nights of sleeping at ungodly hours and vain attempts to have breakfast together. Most of the time I fell asleep and poor Ernest went for breakfast alone! The rest of the time was spent lazing with him in front of the plasma. I discovered that he enjoys channel surfing and watching corny old chinese movies.
I'm just an oddball of complication.
